14 weeks

Mae loves her moose friend. : )

She got a new jumpy seat! She's not quite big enough to enjoy it yet but soon she'll love it, I'm sure! I went to the consignment store a month ago and it was 50 bucks and yesterday it was marked down to 40. Woo Hoo!

NC Trip

Mae and I just got back from North Carolina. We are both so happy to be back with Shawn.

Here are some fun facts about my baby
-She now blows spit bubbles
-She loves to suck on her hands. I have seen her with a pacifer in her mouth and trying to fit both hands in as well. I'm happy it's her hands because soon it'll be bugs and pennies in her mouth.
-Mae LOVES to stand. It is her favorite thing.
-She's started to try and sit up. When she is in her carseat or bumbo she rocks her chest forward like she wants to get up.
-Mae sleeps around 7-9 hrs a night now! Woo hoo!
-She rolls from belly to back.
-She is a super smiler. Her smile is amazing and it lights up my day.
-My absolute favorite part of the day is when she wakes up from a nap or for the day and I just look at her and she lights up. She smiles so big she can hardly contain it. Oh, it is just so sweet.

Sleep Deprived

I have to share a little story with you this morning.

So Shawn and I were watching this show called Making Room for Multiples. This couple had triplet girls naturally. The couple had to get up all night feeding, changing and burping the triplets. The father on the show says "It's so hard being sleep deprived and having to get up every few hours." Shawn proceeds to say "oh yah" and moans in agreement. I turned my head to glare at him and he realizes that, "oh wait, I've never gotten up once with the baby and I never know when it's a bad night because I sleep through all the crying and wake up refreshed every morning." I about rung his neck. Nevertheless we both laughed pretty hard at his temporary insanity.

A not so funny story...

Mae refuses to nap or sleep through the night since yesterday. I am going insane and I am so flipping tired. Ugh, so frustrating!!!

Week 10 surprise

For a couple weeks, my dad and I have been scheming about surprising my mom. She was going to be driving to Texas to see her dad and I wanted to surprise her. I knew I couldn't drive all 8 hours by myself to we asked my aunt Brandee if she wouldn't made going through Arkansas on her way. She successfully kept the secret and somehow convinced my mom that going north to Texas instead of straight there was better. I met up with them in Little Rock and drove the rest of the way with them. I have a video of my mom seeing us for the first time and I'll post it later.






Shawn is very happy to have his girls home!
